“Global Innovation Index” forum took place

On October 18, as part of the international week of innovative ideas “InnoWeek.uz-2023”, the “Global Innovation Index” forum was held.The event was attended by experts from local authorities, including the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the head of the Department of Economics and Statistics of the World Intellectual Property Organization - Dr.  Sascha Wunsch-Vincent (online) and the organization's project manager - Vanessa Inge Behrens (online), executive director of the GEM consortium Dr. Eileen, managing director of Brand Finance Richard Hay (online) and other foreign experts.The Global Innovation Index consists of 80 indicators and describes the innovative development of countries at different levels of economic development. At the event, real plans were discussed to become one of the 56 leading countries in the world in the Global Innovation Index ranking by 2026.In addition, in agreement with the Agency for Innovative Development, actions were discussed to improve indicators that were not included in the rating or that are regularly underestimated in the rating.
