Uzbek-Iran business forum

The international week of innovative ideas “InnoWeek.uz-2023” began its work under the motto “Creative education and innovation - the basis for the development of a new Uzbekistan”, held by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.And today the first event of the week has started - the Uzbek-Iranian business forum. The event was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Ravshan Otaboev:- Cooperation between the two countries plays an important role in relations with business circles. The visits that took place this year and the relevant documents signed laid the foundation for a new stage of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran. We are waiting for Iranian businessmen to do business in Uzbekistan and inform us that we are ready to consider proposals for opening joint ventures.Entrepreneurs from the Islamic Republic of Iran, scientists and representatives of more than 100 local companies take part in the Uzbek-Iranian business forum.- Trade relations between the two countries are given attention at the level of heads of state. Examples of areas of cooperation include agriculture and the field of information technology. The opening of the Iranian House of Innovation and Technology in Tashkent can be considered an effective result of this cooperation,” said Hossein Parvarish, a representative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uzbekistan.
